"The 2021 Palengat Clone 685 Cabernet Sauvignon all comes from Mach One Vineyard. Deep garnet-purple colored, it needs a lot of shaking and coaxing to bring out notes of warm cassis, blackberry preserves, and baked plums, giving way to nuances of aniseed, mossy tree bark, and incense with a touch of cumin seed. Full-bodied, the palate is tightly wound with wonderfully pure muscular black fruits, supported by firm, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing long with lots of mineral and chalk sparks. 1000 cases were made."
