Tara Bomberger

Tara Bomberger brings a financial, legal, and operational acumen spanning over two decades to her role as the vice president of finance at Quilceda Creek Winery. Since joining the team in November 2023, Tara collaborates closely with Chief Financial Officer Bill Reith, overseeing the winery's finances, compliance, and reporting.

Hailing from Oregon and entrenched in the wine industry, Tara's journey culminated in her recent tenure as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at A to Z Wineworks and REX HILL, where she played a pivotal role for more than a decade. Her contributions were integral to the senior management team, focusing on the company’s financial and strategic goals.

Tara's fascination with wine emerged early in her career. Following her attainment of a Master of Legal Administration from the University of Denver School of Law/Daniels College of Business, she initially ventured into law firms in Portland as a Legal Administrator before relocating with her family to McMinnville, OR, nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley. It was there that her passion for wine flourished, leading her to take on accounting roles at R. Stuart & Co and Cristom Vineyards.

Tara is thrilled to return to a family-owned and operated winery with Quilceda Creek. Upon meeting the Quilceda Creek team and tasting the wine, Tara immediately knew that the tight-knit, family atmosphere of the quality-ambitious winery aligned perfectly with her values and strengths and is excited to further the vision of the Golitzin family.

Now based in Seattle, Tara and her husband take great pride in their two grown children and three-year-old Golden Retriever, Gus. As recent empty nesters, they love to travel, spend time outdoors and support the Oregon Ducks.
